Stained Glass Auction Results

Congratulations Barb Urbach (pictured) and Gary Van Osch on their winning bid for
the Thamesville United Church Stained Glass Window!

From Barb and Gary:

“The stained glass arched window will be proudly displayed in our front west window at 1788 Longwoods Road, ‘The Old Community Hall’. Our building was built in 1931. It is our residence as well as a take-out restaurant called Soup Itch operated by Barb. The lower level consists of a drum studio where Gary teaches the technique of percussive arts.”

We at FCHS Foundation can’t wait to see this lovely piece on our travels through Wardsville, and when stopping for some of Barb’s delicious homemade soup and sandwiches!

Thanks again to Angie & Bill Presant for donating the window to our Dinner Theatre
Event, and to FCHS Foundation Board Director Harry Denkers for the handsome hardwood frame.

The successful bid of $700 will go towards the Portable Ultrasound for FCHS Emergency Department. THANK YOU for your support!

Four Counties Health Services (FCHS) is a primary care facility providing emergency care, diagnostic services, and rehabilitation. Serving approximately 23,000 residents, it is located in the village of Newbury at the intersection of Chatham-Kent, Lambton, Middlesex and Elgin Counties.
