IODE Ridgetown Donates $1,500 toward IV Pumps

THANK YOU to IODE Ridgetown – Confederation Chapter for their generous donation of $1,500 to FCHS Foundation!

These funds will go toward one of four IV pumps for patient needs in the Emergency Department (ED) and Active Care Nursing Unit (ACNU) at Four Counties Health Services (FCHS)…

While we’re on the topic of acronyms, do you know what IODE stands for? (Answer below)

Pictured receiving the donation from IODE member Sue McLarty (r) is Tom Jeffery, FCHS Foundation Chair (l). You may recognize both Sue and Tom as FCHS Auxiliary members as well.

We appreciate the dedicated volunteers and organizations that support Care Close to Home for Four Counties’ residents!

By the way, IODE stands for Imperial Order Daughters of the Empire, and is a women’s charitable organization in Canada that focuses on children, education, and community service. The organization was founded in 1900 to promote and support the British empire and its soldiers.

Four Counties Health Services (FCHS) is a primary care facility providing emergency care, diagnostic services, and rehabilitation. Serving approximately 23,000 residents, it is located in the village of Newbury at the intersection of Chatham-Kent, Lambton, Middlesex and Elgin Counties.
