Wash your car at the Big Flag Car Wash in Newbury or the Glencoe Car Wash during the month of September and you will be supporting FCHS Foundation

Every day in the newspaper, radio and television we are reminded of the importance of hand washing to prevent the spread of the flu and to maintain our daily health. Locally the Four Counties Health Services Foundation reminds us that during September, washing your car could improve healthcare at your local hospital.

During September the two car washes in Glencoe and Newbury are donating a portion of their September income directly to FCHS Foundation.

Owners Mary & Jamie Pole, who are involved in their home community of Sarnia with the Bluewater Health Foundation, realize that local businesses can be a great support for the hospital foundation.

The owners, both originally from this area, hope that the program will be successful and can become a tradition each year in this community.

Debbie Munn, Fund Raising Developer for Four Counties, said that this year the foundation has a number of items they are funding, including the new Colonoscope, a Bladder Scanner, Medication packager and new patient beds. She hopes everyone in the community will help support this worthy event and start off the fall season with a nice, clean car.
